Speaking for things unspoken

the inadequacies of words

i've been biting my nails again. and i have taken up anorexia because the vodka seems less potent since the insomnia has fled. i've left my desire in the cloud-cover that sounds more like death than rain. i would rather bleed than fuck.

my hands are abandoned. if i'd wanted closure i would have forced my fingers into syllables.
something capable. something less fanciful of skin. a touch would break me.

there are no delicacies in black and white.
only we.

Michael E. Stone - on Jul. 20 2010

Elegance and eloquence rarely fit the form when the word "fuck" is involved... rarely save for a few... this being a brilliant example of elegantly brutal yet eloquently worded realness. My favorite line.. "my hands are abandoned. if i'd wanted closure i would have forced my fingers into syllables..." This piece reminds me, and mind you i know this will sound silly, but it reminds me of you.

i love it.
