The Hand You Cannot See

(This is from 2008! Seems so long ago, almost like yesterday.)

Plum ripples along the edge of sanity,

blazing sapphires scooped into timeless piles.

Deep shadows pull strong,

momentary death folds quietly

across full lush blossoms.

Sweetly swaying orchids

caress the latent core.

Breathe their silent call.

Awaken to orange marmalade

spread transparent across your earthly crust

tasted by the tongues of angels.

I actually love the last three lines Laurie.

You sure you got the right prescription there Laurie? Seductively psychedelic -- Laurie in the Sky with Diamonds...

:>

I remember exactly when I wrote this and reading it now almost 4 years later... I am amazed that I described it so perfectly.

Ha-ha Laura!!

It is the beauty of a sunrise on a very ordinary day, in a very ordinary city, seen by a very ordinary person.

Stephan Anstey - on Jan. 10

So you didn't see that sunrise then?

Laura doom - on Jan. 10

Yes, but you were that sun -- not at all ordinary :>)
