Nope. Cause I've written about 7 poems. But sometimes I do that thing where I spend all afternoon looking for my sunglasses, and find them propped on my head like a headband.

I can't tell you how awed I am at 1242 poems.

1241 of them suck to high-heaven. Calling them poems is really a bit of a misnomer. they're snippets and thoughts. Mildly poetic at times, but mostly dreadful, as the majority of my 3-4k poems are. I'm always glad if one out of 10 is viable.

Umm...yeah. I can't say that I have even had 1242 thoughts today. Unless we count things like "I bet they would fight over a booger...Would she just stop talking for 2 full seconds, I know she has to take a breath sometime." Somehow I am sure I don't have 1242 poems or anything similar just lying around. What I do have is 1242 (give or take a few, it's a rough estimate) dirty socks that need washing, and I am quite certain I only wore 2 of them.

I've got at least 1242 gumballs to rake out back and take to the conservation center. And probably close to that many pounds to lose. But poems...200 tops, with maybe one that's a genuine gem.
