How do I get my own space?

Ask and ye shall receive.

Instructions are on the Member Pages, but the short answer is basically, you just ask. What we're looking for is a message with a small writing sample, just to verify that you're somewhat serious about being here. But the real key is just that you're interested enough to ask.
