The Night Prophet «

blush.

my eyes are blue
bright blue
saturday

i
crawl away
like a caterpillar
far away

on a thousand legs

you say
"blush
la vie en rose"
slide a finger
down one
cheek

in a dream i had last week

me "your little bird"
strings light
tree to tree

free to see your sea

and go barefoot
in your grass

my eyes are blue
bright blue
saturday

hyacinth blossoms
cherry bliss
did you miss
me

in a
postcard holding
"wish you were here"
to kiss

my flowered dress
is pretending

not to love the wind
or happy endings

i will ever stay pink
bathe
in your sink

twirl in spring rains
never to blink

to draw your smile forever.

I am so glad to see you writing. I need to take some time with this, but first i wanted to say that. I very much like the first 3 lines. The 'my eyes are blue/bright blue/saturday' is interesting. the time-binding of the blue to a day.
