That does not make it truth
Your God teaches truth
So don’t revile me
At least I reveal these truths
Not because it is someone else’s will
But because they are truth

i'm not sure that tenets can be 'obeyed' - a tenet is the An opinion, doctrine, or principle -- not an order really? I suppose you could adhere to or believe in or follow, but obey just seems odd to me.

he he, I totally agree. However, having said that, let's look at the Vatican. Full of opinions and interpretations, yet for millenia now, it has sought to enforce it's flock to obey or be lose all chance at redemption.
