The Earth IS Round
no pounding heart
no detonation
no manic burst of insanity
just tranquil blue
dropping into
the clear pale thrust of icy sky
blending serenely with all above
Earth calls from below
her edges arcing downward
pulling at the horizon
the quiet beauty
of calm floats
undamaged to the earth
